Sports Games of USTB

The sports games is held annually in the main campus of USTB at the beginning of every new semester. In addition to traditional track and field, students are more interested in fun creative games that require teamwork.

Teacher-Student Basketball Match

The Teacher-Student Basketball Game of NCMS is held from March to April every year. The graduate students of each grade, doctoral students and all faculty members form different teams to participate in the game. Double-defeat elimination system is adopted in the match.

The “Academic Three Minutes” Speech Contest

As an event of cross-disciplinary and diversified teaching, "Academic Three Minutes" speech contest offers graduate students opportunities to practice academic presentations in order to enhance the expression ability of academic views.

Students who participated in the contest could use PowerPoint, video, model and any other tool to show their research results as vivid as possible in three minutes. The advisors commented on the performance of each students and gave suggestions based on the academic speech standards.

The Competition of Job Interview Simulation

The Competition of Job Interview Simulation is held by USTB annually for the students about to graduate and apply for jobs. In the simulated interview, participants should give self-introduction and describe their working or research experience. Suggestions will be given by advisors to help students get better prepared.
