From December 6th to 7th, 2025, an expert team from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) conducted a comprehensive on-site assessment at the National Center for Materials Service Safety (NCMS). The assessment focused on scope extension, reassessment, and modification of the existing accreditation.
Upon the official approval of this extension, the testing technical capabilities and quality management system of NCMS will reach a new milestone. The accredited scope will encompass five major fields—metallic materials, non-metallic materials, electrical and electronic products, sputtered thin-film materials, and building materials—covering a total of 53 testing standards (methods). This achievement will further strengthen the systematic and high-level evaluation system for material service safety, providing robust technical support for industry safety and technological innovation.
