The "2025 Forum on Service Safety of Wind Power Materials and Equipment," jointly organized by the National Center for Materials Service Safety, University of Science and Technology Beijing and the Marine Technology Innovation Center –Yanze Delta, was successfully held in Beijing from October 21 to 22, 2025. Over 70 experts and representatives from renowned universities, research institutes, and related enterprises gathered to discuss new ideas for the service safety of wind power materials and equipment. Professor Pang Xiaolu, Director of the National Center for Materials Service Safety（NCMS）, and Professor Xu Lixin, Director of the Marine Technology Innovation Center –Yanze Delta, delivered opening speeches. The forum chair, Researcher Ren Xuechong from NCMS, presided over the meeting.
The conference focused on cutting-edge topics in the wind power sector, covering themes such as the development of new materials and processes for wind power, failure and prevention measures for wind power equipment, operation and maintenance as well as safety inspection of wind power equipment, and testing and evaluation technologies for wind power materials and equipment. The event specially invited 18 experts and scholars to deliver insightful presentations, which sparked lively discussions among the attendees.
