Researches
Yinghao Miao is a Professor in the National Center for Materials Service Safety (NCMS), University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB). He earned his B.S. degree in highway and urban road engineering from Chang’an University in 1997 and entered Hebei Highway & Waterway Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. After working in the field for 3 years, he returned to Chang’an University to earn his Master’s degree and Ph.D. degree in road and railway engineering in 2003 and 2006 respectively. After received his doctoral degree, he joined the faculty of Beijing University of Technology in 2006. In March 2014, he finished a one-year visit to Virginia Tech sponsored by the China Scholarship Council. In April 2018, he joined the faculty of NCMS, USTB. He has been actively conducting research in the road engineering for more than 10 years. His current research interests include:
1. Performance and safety of transportation infrastructure;
2. Sustainability in transportation infrastructure;
3. Resilient roads and climate change adaptation.
