Professor Yinghao Miao attended the 7th working meeting of the Technical Committee on Climate

Professor Yinghao Miao of NCMS was invited to attend the 7th working meeting of PIARC TC E.1 in Oslo, Norway, from May 14, 2019 to May 18, 2019. There are two topics in this meeting :

1) Study the strategies of different countries in dealing with the impact of climate change on transport infrastructure 

2) Application and Revision of PIARC Climate Change Adaptation Strategy.

During the meeting, the representative of Norwegian Public Road Authority introduced their basic situation of development and objectives. The relevant engineers introduced the design and construction of a representative project in Oslo, the Bjørvika immersed tunnel.

The discussions and exchanges help NCMS have a fully understood of the strategies of various countries to cope with the impact of climate change on transport infrastructure, which is meaningful for NCMS to carry out relevant work.
