NCMS is openly recruiting high-level talents and outstanding young faculty in fields related to material service safety, including Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanics, Control Science and Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering , and Safety Science and Engineering.

1. For young talents who have achieved internationally recognized outstanding accomplishments in their respective fields, demonstrated clear academic advantages, and shown significant potential for development, they may be directly appointed as distinguished professors or associate professors with corresponding research support. Particularly outstanding candidates may apply for the "Beike Scholar" talent support program in accordance with university policies.

2. Postdoctoral researchers are supported by:

            Basic salary from USTB, additional support with no upper limit from collaborating supervisor.

            Benefits for those selected in national postdoctoral projects/programs in addition to the basic salary.

            Candidates with exceptional academic achievements may be appointed as distinguished associate professors or professors.

            Eligible candidates will be provided with housing subsidies and assistance with childcare and school enrollment.

Recruitment Process

            Personal resume: covered basic information, education and work experience, research projects undertaken, papers list published in the past five years (with 

           impact factors and CAS JCR quartiles), and awards.

            Supporting documents: including ID/passport, degree certificates, employment proof, research project proof, first page of published papers, awards, and patents.

2. Screening based on position requirements and applicant qualifications.

3. Interviews and comprehensive evaluations as per procedures.

4. The university's Human Resources Department and Talent Office will compile the list of recommended candidates from various departments and determine the final selections in accordance with university regulations.

Application Requirements

1. With a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and dedication to the job. Good health, moral integrity, law-abiding, and no criminal record.

2. Applicants should generally hold a doctoral degree, including current doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, returnees from overseas, or individuals transferring from within Beijing. Those with senior professional titles may have relaxed age requirements. Candidates meeting the university's high-level talent recruitment criteria will be treated in accordance with relevant policies.

3. Candidates without postdoctoral experience are generally required to conduct research at the university's postdoctoral research stations. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree, typically obtained within the last three years.

4. For overseas returnees who meet the requirements for Beijing employment and settlement through the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange and choose not to engage in postdoctoral research, the university can assist with Beijing settlement procedures and manage them as career staff after formal settlement.
